Icefield’s Parkway

Driving this parkway, is my all time fave. There’s endless things to see and do. I love doing it, and probably do it twice a year. I wanted to get to it one last time this year before the snow flew (because you know, its going to snow eventually here!) Nic, was up for the adventure. We had contemplated going to the Athabasca Glacier, but from what I’ve heard the Ice Cave is no longer – Thankfully I experienced its greatness the last couple years! So we decided Waterfowl Lakes was the furthest we would go. Our first stop was the classic and ever so calm Herbert Lake, We then hiked up to Peyto, doing the scenic route and not hiking up a paved path. We even continued further then the look out point to an even better one, that I had never even been to before. Bow lake and Waterfowl Lakes were last.
